Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Dar es Salaam and transfer to Iringa.

After a long flight, you will be met at the airport and transferred to Iringa, where you will check into your hotel and have some time to relax and settle in.

Days 2-4: Ruaha National Park.

After breakfast, you will head to Ruaha National Park, one of Tanzania’s largest and most remote national parks. Spend the next three days exploring this diverse and wildlife-rich park, known for its large elephant herds, plentiful predators, and diverse birdlife. Enjoy game drives, guided walks, and possibly even boat safaris along the Ruaha River.

Day 5: Transfer to Mikumi National Park.

After breakfast, leave Ruaha and travel to Mikumi National Park. Check into your lodge and spend the rest of the day exploring this beautiful park, home to a wide range of wildlife including lions, elephants, giraffes, and zebras.

Days 6-8: Explore Nyerere National Park.

After breakfast, you will head to Nyerere National Park, formerly known as Selous Game Reserve. This park is Tanzania’s largest protected wildlife area and offers a pristine wilderness experience. Enjoy game drives, boat safaris, and walking safaris as you explore this diverse and remote park.

Day 9: Return to Dar es Salaam.

After breakfast, you will return to Dar es Salaam. Check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing by the pool or exploring the city.

Days 10-13: Zanzibar.

After breakfast, you will transfer to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, check into your beachfront resort and spend the next four days enjoying the beautiful beaches, turquoise waters, and vibrant culture of Zanzibar. Optional activities include snorkeling, diving, spice tours, and visits to historic Stone Town.

Day 14: Departure.

After breakfast, you will transfer to the airport for your departure flight home.
